About Save the Children is the world’s leading independent organization for children. We work in 120 countries.
For more than five decades, Save the Children has used rights-based approaches in Lebanon to increase access to quality education, and strengthen child participation and protection at the family, school and community levels for children, adolescents and youth.
Since the onset of the Syrian refugee crisis, Save the Children scaled up its response with Emergency Education and Child Protection programming in Akkar, Tripoli and Bekaa. Save the Children is responding to the lifesaving needs of those affected by the conflict which include Syrian refugees, Lebanese returnees, Palestinians and host families. We are operational in three additional sectors, offering a comprehensive assistance package to children and their families: Emergency Shelter, Emergency Food Security and Livelihood and Health/Nutrition.

We work to resolve the ongoing struggles children face every day and replace them with hope for the future.
