Relocation from Jamam to Kaya was completed as of 15th June. UNHCR expresses their thanks to all agencies involved in the process.

In Doro and Gendrassa NFI distribution is 100 % complete with 75 % done in Batil. NFI distribution in Kaya has not yet started

Biometric verification ended the 9th of July 2013. 53% of the Refugee population in Makpandu camp didn't show up during the exercise.

The 11th of July 2013 Biometric verification exercise will start in Ezo.

Relocation of Nyeel Refugees started today: 197 Refugees moved to Ajuong Thok

Nyeel Refugee Camp is closed and all Refugees have been relocated to Ajuong Thok.

Ambassador of Finland visited Pagak entry point and Kule 2 Refugee Camp

Gambella Regional Council announces Pamdong Refugee Camp as a new site and changes the names of Kule 1 to "Kule Camp" and Kule 2 to "Tierkidi Camp".

As at 6th August 2014, Kakuma had received 41,780 asylum seekers from South Sudan.This brings the total camp population to 177,210
