A total of 139,276 South Sudanese refugees have been assisted in Uganda since the influx began in mid-December 2013, including 88,066 in Adjumani, 12,503 in Arua, 31,369 in Kiryandongo and 7,338 in Kampala.

UNHCR hosted a Canadian Selection Mission in Kakuma from 19 - 23 January 2015 to conduct resettlement interview in the camp and to be updated on the situation.

There were 1,605 arrivals to Sudan in the last week in White Nile and South Kordofan States. The total new arrival population now stands at 60,568

70% of new arrivals to Sudan, 42,311 individuals, have received some form of food or NFI assistance in Khartoum, White Nile, South Kordofan, and West Kordofan.

As of 25th June 2014, the number of South Sudanese asylum seekers received in Kakuma is 39,180. This brings the total estimated camp population to 170,965
