Needs
-Change in focus of aid provision from short term palliative assistance to a longer term program that also addresses stresses on the host community. -Aid organisations should work with both Syrians and Jordanians to devise a program of assistance that is considered equitable by both communities. -The Syrian community must begin to act as a community. Enabling members to reach each other would help build social capital. -There is a need for social and recreational spaces and events at which the Syrian community can meet the host community and establish better communications.

Main Findings
Resource scarcity leads to increased tensions over: housing, competition over jobs, labour exploitation of SyrRefs, schools overcrowded. Particularly tense between young men, also frustrations with aid community.
