Premier Skills,a joint program by English Premier League and the British Council was in KK from 21-23 March to meet & train refugees/host com. sport coaches.

From 16-19 Sep. Ed. Grode,board member of U.S. Committee for Refugees/Immigrants (USCRI), a U.S. resettlement and advocacy organization, was in KK on mission.

A Oxford University team was in KK from 11-18 April to prepare the ground for a research on refugee/host community economies that will start later in the year.

UNHCR in collaboration with UNFPA & UN Women officially launched in KK the HeForShe campaign on 9 Nov. to raise awareness on inequality faced by women and girls

Team from IKEA Foundation and UNHCR Private Sector in Geneva visited KK from 04 to 06 February.Mission familiarized with the development plan of Kalobeyei site.

UNHCR Head of Private Sector Fundraising, Christian Schaake was in Kakuma on 29 Feb. The mission’s aim was to familiarize with the operation/funds requirements.

A team from UNHCR and WFP HQ's is currently in Kakuma to monitor the implementation of the biometrics food distribution system that was introduced in Oct. 2013.

On 04 May 2015, the Executive Director of the Board of USA for UNHCR, key donor, visited Kakuma to identifying potential sustainable livelihood projects.

Team from "United for Africa", UNHCR fundraising partner in Germany, visited Kakuma from 31 August for one week to raise support/advocacy for Kenya refugees.

From 16-20 February, two Donors missions were carried out in Kakuma from DFID and PRM to monitor their funded projects as well as coordination mechanisms.
