A total of 18,807 Burundian refugees have been received in Uganda since the onset of the influx.

This brings the total number of refugees repatriated to 10,553 individuals in 2,836 families since the second phase of the voluntary repatriation programme started on 18 July 2022. 157 individuals departed under resettlement during the month of January USA: (35) and Finland (122). Eight cases comprising 26 individuals were submitted for resettlement consideration to the USA (19), Finland (7). A total of 513 people we serve (PWS) accessed Covid-19 testing services in the three refugee settlements, bringing the cumulative figure to 13,552. The number of positive cases recorded during the reporting month was 10 people we serve (PWS).

A total of 46,717 work permits have been issued/renewed during the period of January 1, 2017-Dec 31, 2017.

A total of 5,020 (58 % from Eastern Equatoria) SSD new arrivals have been registered since 1st January 2017 while a total of 1,418 individuals were registered in March 2017.

A total of 600 new arrivals was received at the Dollo Ado Reception Centre during the last week. However in the last 2 days the average was of 174 per day.
