To strengthen and promote an evidence-based protection response, UNHCR and its partners in Belarus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Republic of Moldova, Poland, Romania and Slovakia have been implementing a Protection Profiling and Monitoring exercise to regularly collect and analyze data about the profiles, protection risks and needs of refugees from Ukraine and monitor changes over time. This fact sheet presents the main findings based on 27,211 interviews ( 64,686 household members) conducted between 16 Feb 2023 and 31 October 2023.
