This document explores FAO’s life-saving and resiliencebuilding work with refugees in Uganda and Kenya, but the © FAO/V. Tremeau lessons and approaches are applicable to all forcibly displaced people. The projects mentioned have been made possible with the generous support of Innovation Norway, the IKEA Foundation and the European Union, who share FAO’s belief that agricultural livelihoods are a key part of the solution to forced displacement. They were also made possible through strong partnerships with UNHCR and the World Food Programme (WFP).
