Jowhar district in the Middle Shabelle region is currently experiencing severe flooding due to the torrential rainfall, resulting in the overflow of the Shabelle River. The Protection and Solutions Monitoring Network (PSMN), through its local partner, documented that 2,700 households with approximately 16,200 individuals have been affected.
