This scenario paper explores the potential of the triple nexus, that is, the humanitarian–development–peace nexus approach – a policy concept that encourages stronger collaboration and coordination across the three sectors – as a framework for addressing the multifaceted challenges in Ethiopia, including in the context of forced displacement caused by the civil war between the federal government and the Tigrayan People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) from November 2020 to November 2022.
