Lebanon remains highly vulnerable to waterborne diseases such as cholera, hepatitis A, and rotavirus due to deteriorating WaSH conditions, displacement, and severe drought. Building on the successful 2022 Cholera Risk Map, the 2025 WBD Risk Map integrates the Drought Vulnerability Index with population, water access, surveillance, and sanitation indicators to provide a forward-looking early warning tool.
