Since April 2023, the armed conflict between the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and the regular Sudanese armed forces has triggered a dramatic and accelerating humanitarian crisis across several regions of Sudan, most notably in Darfur. Civilians—especially women, children, and the elderly—are enduring extreme levels of violence, vulnerability, and forced displacement, with little to no access to safety and basic services.
