Since March, some 199,000 people have sought refuge in neighbouring countries, including an estimated 80,000 in the Sudan, about 50,000 in Ethiopia, 36,000 in Uganda, and around 34,000 in D.R.C. Within South Sudan, UNHCR, UNOCHA, IOM and RRC reports that approximately 371,000 people have been newly displaced in all locations affected by the conflict since February 2025.
