This Situation Report (#3) presents an overview of the Protection Sector emergency response in Lebanon for the period 2 to 30 March 2026. The report highlights a rapidly deteriorating humanitarian situation, with conflict reaching a critical threshold marked by rising casualties, large-scale displacement, and severe damage to civilian infrastructure. Approximately 20% of the population is now displaced, with overcrowded shelters and restricted humanitarian access significantly exacerbating protection risks, particularly for women, children, persons with disabilities, and other vulnerable groups. It outlines key response achievements across Protection, Child Protection, and Gender-Based Violence (GBV), including expanded outreach, psychosocial support, case management, dignity kit distribution, and emergency cash assistance.
