Azraq refugee camp was opened in April 2014. The camp management is co-coordinated by Syrian Refugee Affairs Directorate (SRAD) and UNHCR. Azraq camp currently host 36,883 refugees in four villages out of 41,505 registered refugees. The camp has the potential to be expanded to accommodate 120,000 - 130,000 refugees at maximum capacity
