GVC is an independent secular organization founded in Bologna Italy in the 70’s. GVC is convinced that the fight against injustice in all its forms - the abuse of power, human rights violations, the continuing existence of slavery and exploitation, and the expropriation of natural resources - is an essential ethical and moral obligation. GVC has chosen international cooperation as a means to carry out development and humanitarian aid projects in favor of the dispossessed and those stricken by wars and natural disasters. GVC promotes advocacy, information, and awareness campaigns about the issues faced by development; connecting Italy, Europe, and the countries in which it operates abroad.
