In 2025, UNHCR adapted its response in Colombia to operate effectively despite sharply reduced funding and rising humanitarian needs, prioritizing life‑saving protection, emergency assistance, and territorial support in areas most affected by violence and displacement. With only 28% financial requirements funded in 2025, UNHCR Colombia reached 58% of the targeted population by maintaining coverage in 30 departments. UNHCR sustained a nationwide protection response through 21 fixed Information and Orientation Centres (PAOs) and 4 mobile units, and advanced durable solutions at national and territorial levels to promote long-term access to rights and stability for forcibly displaced populations.
