Democratic Republic of Congo - Voluntary Repatriation National Dashboard as of 30 May 2021
Since February 2022, the UNHCR DRC are conducting repatriation operations. Currently, 2,512 individuals have been repatriated to their countries of origin (928 were Central Africans; 896 were Rwandans and 688 were Burundians). The UNHCR received also 205 returnees from other countries such as RSA (108 returnees) and Zambia (97 returnees).
Repatriation convoys were organized by road, air and boat. Assiduous work is being carried out by UNHCR's partners to support voluntary repatriation activities by the CNR (Government partner), ADSSE, AIDES, AIRD, CIAUD and World Vision.
