As of 22 April, a total of 35,288 South Sudanese asylum seekers have been received in Kakuma camp.The total estimated camp population is 165,000

As at 25th September 2014, Kakuma had received 43,485 asylum seekers from South Sudan. This brings the total camp population to 178,445.

The trend of daily arrivals from Nadapal has declined significantly over past months to an average of 50 arrivals per week.UNHCR KK team is monitoring closely.

On 2 Feb. Program Dir. of Nduna Foundation visited Kakuma for the first time on a familiarization tour to support fundraising/advocacy for refugees children.

20,156 South Sudanese have been received in Kakuma camp in 2014. Camp population stands at 149,365 which is 635 persons short of the 150,000 capacity threshold

As of 29 April, the total number of South Sudanese asylum seekers received in Kakuma is 34,770. The total estimated camp population is now 165,715.

As of 14th May, the total number of South Sudanese asylum seekers received in Kakuma is 36,450. This brings the total estimated camp population to 167,190

As of 20th May 2014,the total number of South Sudanese asylum seekers received in Kakuma is 36,880. This brings the total estimated camp population to 167,620

As of 11th June, the number of South Sudanese asylum seekers received in Kakuma is 38,323. This brings the total estimated camp population to 169,475

As at 17th September 2014, Kakuma has received 43,253 asylum seekers from South Sudan. This brings the total camp population to 178,210.
