In total, as of 28th Feb. 52,591 Somali refugees returned home since 8th December 2014, when UNHCR started supporting voluntary return of Somali refugees.

Over 3,500 new arrivals to benefit from the opening of 3 temporary schools, put up to decongest the existing school, in Kalobeyei settlement by UNHCR in collaboration with WFP, UNICEF, and partners.

20,156 South Sudanese have been received in Kakuma camp in 2014. Camp population stands at 149,365 which is 635 persons short of the 150,000 capacity threshold

As of 29 April, the total number of South Sudanese asylum seekers received in Kakuma is 34,770. The total estimated camp population is now 165,715.

As of 14th May, the total number of South Sudanese asylum seekers received in Kakuma is 36,450. This brings the total estimated camp population to 167,190

As of 20th May 2014,the total number of South Sudanese asylum seekers received in Kakuma is 36,880. This brings the total estimated camp population to 167,620

As of 11th June, the number of South Sudanese asylum seekers received in Kakuma is 38,323. This brings the total estimated camp population to 169,475
