The 2022 High Commissioner’s Dialogue on Protection Challenges was held on 7 and 8 December 2022 in Geneva, Switzerland, and convened over 500 stakeholders from States, international organizations, development actors, international financial institutions, peace actors, NGOs, the private sector, and refugee-led organizations. The two-day event, which brought together over 500 participants, including host governments, refugees, civil society members, development agencies, international financial institutions and private sector companies, among many others, was an excellent opportunity to review achievements and discuss next steps, especially in the lead-up to the second Global Refugee Forum which will be held in Geneva in December 2023.
