An IDP site verification exercise was conducted in Garoowe in May 2023. The operation was led by PSA, PMWDO and UNHCR. 25 IDP sites were identified hosting 8,500 households or 55,675 individuals. Compared to the last site verification conducted in November and December 2022, there was no increase in sites, a decrease of 2,369 Households or 22 individuals.
