The learning module ‘Strengthening two-way communication in the MENA region’ aims to clarify key concepts of two-way communication and covers practical methods to carry out an effective two-way communication strategy. It addresses UNHCR MENA operations or partner organizations’ staff working at the frontline of community protection and outreach, such as Community-Based Protection officers, focal points and members of the MENA Community Protection network. The module consists of five parts, each based on a key element of the two-way communication strategic cycle. Each part is developed as a step-by-step guide to develop familiarity with key two-way communications approaches by achieving methodology objectives at each phase of the strategic cycle and provides concrete ready-to-use guidance for practical tools. At the end of the training module, the learner should be able to better identify and connect with target audiences, tailor key messages, integrate planning with adequate considerations.
