A joint IDP site verification exercise was conducted in Belet Weyne in September 2023. The operation was in coordination of the local authority and HCRI led by DAN, DRC, MRDO, Mercy Corps-USA, ODHA, HIWA, RHF, UNICEF, OCHA, WHO and SYPD. 95 IDP sites were identified hosting 12,083 households or 67,250 individuals.
