This factsheet presents a summary of the findings of the Joint Multi-Sector Needs Assessment (J-MSNA) exercise conducted by REACH in coordination with the ISCG in Cox's Bazar District of Bangladesh. The assessment aimed at a comprehensive analysis of the humanitarian needs and gaps within the host community population in Cox's Bazar. It analyzed the drivers and severity of needs of the host community population from sector-specific and inter-sectoral perspectives, and uncovered differences in needs among various sub-populations and camps, an approach intended to direct response prioritization and strategic planning efforts towards the most vulnerable individuals. The household survey collected data from a representative sample of 1,149 households among the host communities in 11 Unions of Ukhiya and Teknaf Upazilas.
