Established in 2013, Darashakran camp was established to accommodate Syrian refugees. Unlike other refugee and IDP camps, Darashakran is the most isolated, situated 20 km from the nearest city centre (Darashakran town). Surrounded by agricultural farms, the camp is far from essential public service facilities. As a result, the residents rely entirely on services provided within the camp.
