Uganda Refugee Response Suicide dashboard summarizes suicide cases reported by MHPSS partners detailing attempted suicide and death by suicide. Methods used to commit suicide and the triggers for suicidal ideation. Generally, 14 more deaths by suicide were recorded in 2024 compared to 2023 triggered by family disagreements, financial problems, lack of basic needs, domestic violence, and previous mental illness as the leading causes.
