The 2025 eCentre Africa programme, supported by the Government of Japan and implemented by UNHCR, concluded with a high-level ceremony in Addis Ababa. The event brought together 31 local leaders from 13 African countries to celebrate their achievements in emergency preparedness and response. The initiative aligns with the goals of TICAD 9 and highlights the importance of locally led humanitarian action across the continent.
