In collaboration with the National Commission for Refugees (CNR) and the humanitarian community, UNHCR continues to provide multi-sectoral assistance covering protection, shelter, health, education, water, hygiene and sanitation (WASH) to 26,728 Sudanese refugees in Korsi, a government-identified neighbourhood in the town of Birao (Vakaga prefecture), 65 km from the border with Sudan.
