As of October 31st, Musenyi refugee site hosts 18,154, refugees (5,025 households including 9957 women, 9413men). 53% are children. Moreover, during the reporting period, 3,302 Burundian refugees were voluntarily repatriated to their home country, Burundi and the majority coming from Tanzania. In addition, 1089 refugee identity cards were distributed to refugees by UNHCR and ONPRA ensuring that each refugee is officially recognized within the country of asylum and has access to rights and protection.
