Since March, some 205,000 people have sought refuge in neighbouring countries, including an estimated 76,000 in the Sudan, about 45,000 in DRC, 50,000 in Ethiopia, and around 34,000 in Uganda. Within South Sudan, DTM and RRC reports that approximately 326,000 people have been newly displaced in all locations affected by the conflict since February 2025.
