Part of a wider study of Protracted Displacement in an Urban World, this presentation focuses on displacement economies - the collective economy created by refugees and IDPs through their livelihood activities, enterprise, need for services and consumption, and through mutual support, both in camp-based and urban settings. It focuses on four countries with large displaced populations: Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Jordan and Kenya.
