The UNHCR-led PRMN implemented in partnership with NRCreported 299,000 new internal displacements in the month ofAugust 2022. Of these, 98,863 were triggered bydrought or lack of livelihood while 197,281 were related to conflict / insecurity, 1,663were also displaced due to floods and 1,366 were displaced due to other reasons.
