Thaton, 21 June—Under the auspices of Htaunghmu monastery Sayadaw,a ceremony to hand over the new school building and land plot was held in TadaU Village of Thaton Township in Mon State on Friday.The Abbot handed over documents related to the new school building to the officials of education
department.The school building was constructed on 4.92 acres of land extracted from the forest area of the village. It is 120 feet long and 30 feet wide. The construction of the building cost K31.5 million. At the ceremony,the land plot, new school building and 50 desks were handed over to the township education office.
