The first meeting of the Joint Committee to amend the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Constitution (2008) was held yesterday at Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Building (D) in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
Present at the meeting were Chairman of the Joint Committee to amend the 2008 Constitution Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Deputy Speaker Pyithu Hluttaw Deputy Speaker U Tun Aung (alias) Tun Tun Hein, Deputy Chairman of the Joint Committee to amend the 2008 constitution Amyotha Hluttaw Deputy Speaker U Aye Tha Aung, the Joint Committee’s Secretary, joint secretary and members who are political parties’ MPs and officials from Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Office.
