Action for Social Development and Environmental Protection

The Food Bank Aid Foundation was started by a small group of friends in 2022. Our goal is to provide a reliable source of food assistance to individuals and families facing financial hardship, while also working to reduce food waste in our community. We strive to build strong partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and volunteers who share our commitment to fighting hunger and promoting food security. We are dedicated to operating with integrity, transparency, and compassion, and to treating all of our clients and partners with respect and dignity. Through our efforts, we aim to create a more just and equitable society where no one goes hungry.

The foundation works to create a better world in which fundamental rights are respected, for all. Economic and geopolitical interests are exerted at the expense of the rights of the global citizen. Increasingly fundamental rights are being denied, international organisations concerned with the fundamental protection of rights are being undermined, and the very foundations of life are poisoned. The Foundation for Global Human Dignity, GHD, works with people to strengthen the rights based environment, seeking partnerships with individuals and organisations in collaborative work to improve lives and communities. Our core focus is on the rights of marginalised communities and peoples, addressing corrupt practices that ultimately deteriorate fundamental freedoms, and engaging communities in developing sustainable economic, political and social infrastructure.

The Pressley Ridge Hungary Foundation aims to increase the chances of successful life management for young people with severe behavioural, integration and emotional difficulties by broadening the methodological culture of professionals and helpers working with them and their families and neighbourhoods. Through both institution-based and after-school programs, the foundation aims to prevent early school leaving, which is unfortunately common among these young people, and to promote a happy and active life. The Pressley Ridge Hungary Foundation serves troubled and troubling youths and their families. We provide institution based and after school programs to prevent early school leaving and foster happy and productive life.

Our foundation was established at the beginning of 2020 with its headquarters in Gyöngyös. In August 2020, we established a site in Fehérgyarmat, where we established the Thousand Colors Social Store and Community Space.

Its background includes research on a wide range of issues related to social stratification, labour markets, income distribution, consumption and lifestyle patterns and attitudes. Recently, TÁRKI conducts more and more comparative research for different institutions of the European Union.
