The Psychosocial Support (PSS) Committee revised the guidelines to ‘Support the Provision of Psychosocial Activities for Children’ offering a comprehensive overview and outlining roles & responsibilities. This update aligns with the current emergency response strategy and optimizes resource utilization, adhering to the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC) pyramid of intervention. It incorporates a capacity building component for those delivering psychosocial support & recommends specific tools, tested in the context of Lebanon, to effectively support children cope with the current crisis.
