During the verification exercise in Kahda, CCCM Cluster verified a total of 864 IDP sites under 12 Catchment Areas hosting 106,831 households [consisting of 594,612 individuals]. Compared to the previous site verification held in October 2022, Kahda IDP population decreased by 13,326 individuals. The verification exercise in Daynile, verified a total of 1,115 IDP sites in 14 Catchment Areas hosting 123,642 households consisting of 653,057 individuals. Compared to the previous site verification held in October 2022, Daynile IDP population decreased by 86,080 individuals. Analysis: Overall, the two districts host currently a total of 230,473 HHs with a population of 1,247,669 individuals living in 1,979 IDP sites.
