The situation for refugee and displaced children in the DRC remains concerning, especially in the eastern part of the country, where cyclical conflicts persist. These children are exposed to multiple protection risks, particularly when caught in armed conflicts. The protection challenges they face are diverse, making it essential to implement responses tailored to their specific needs.​ ​ UNHCR and its partners continue to integrate child protection concerns across all areas of intervention.
