UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, welcomes the generous contribu:on of USD 1 million from the Government of Norway in support of the nearly 1.2 million Rohingya refugees living in Bangladesh. The funding, which comes as part of the 2025-2026 support to UNHCR's global budget, is crucial for ensuring the organiza:on can con:nue delivering life-saving assistance and respond to increasing protec:on and humanitarian needs. Declining humanitarian funding in 2025 has already forced difficult priori:za:on and reduc:on of essen:al services, increasing vulnerability in the refugee camps.
