This study assesses how sustainable energy can support in improving Lebanon’s strained economic and labor market situation. Renewable Energy (RE) is expected to provide employment opportunities for people at all qualification levels but a clear regulatory framework and support in building capacities are necessary to achieve the ambitious plans set out by the government and allow youth and vulnerable people to capture the employment opportunities in RE sector.
