Zambia’s delegation, including key officials Dickson Matembo, Permanent Secretary and Professor Prosper Ngandu, Commissioner for Refugees in the Ministry of Home Affairs and Internal Security, Ms Mavis Nkomeshya, Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Vice President, and Mr. Danies Chisenda, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Finance and National Planning, met with the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, Filippo Grandi, just before a Roundtable event in Berlin. The Roundtable, organized by the German Federal Foreign Ministry, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, and UNHCR on July 23, 2024, focused on UNHCR’s sustainable programming approach.
