New arrivals from South Sudan surpass the 20,000 mark

20,156 South Sudanese asylum seekers have so far been received in Kakuma camp since the influx began. Within the last week of February, 1,690 new arrivals were received and transported from Nadapal border. The total estimated camp population now stands at 149,365, just 635 persons short of the 150,000 capacity threshold.
