    Operational Overview

    The South Africa Multi-Country Office started operations in 2020 in Pretoria as part of the broader decentralization process, and after the transformation of the former Regional Office for Southern Africa into two entities: SAMCO and the Regional Bureau for Southern Africa.

    SAMCO covers nine countries: Botswana, Comoros, the Kingdoms of Eswatini and Lesotho, Madagascar, Mauritius, Namibia, Seychelles and South Africa.
