An IDP site verification exercise was conducted in Bossaso in May 2023. The operation was led by DRC, NRC, PMWDO,PSA and UNHCR. 25 IDP sites were identified hosting 21,052 households or 126,544 individuals. Compared to the last site verification conducted in November 2022, there was no increase in sites, a decrease of 1,680 Households but and increase of 2,955 individuals.
