As of 31 October 2023, there are 71,760 refugees and asylum-seekers in Yemen. Sixty-four per cent of the population are from Somalia and twenty-six per cent originate from Ethiopia. There is almost an even split between male (54%) and females (46%). In the month of October there were 833 new registrations.
