On October 25, airstrikes hit the Joussieh border crossing in Homs and the road between Al-Masnaa and Jdeidet Yabous, further disrupting movement between Lebanon and Syria. The strikes caused no casualties but closed the Joussieh crossing and worsened road conditions, which had already been impacted by earlier strikes. UN officials condemned the attacks, stressing the need to protect civilians fleeing danger. On October 24, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees called for increased international support for Lebanon and Syria during a conference in Paris. Additionally, the Abu al-Zandain crossing in Aleppo reopened to help Syrians escaping Lebanon.
