This report summarizes the key findings and protection risks identified through the Protection Monitoring (PM) initiative for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), including returning IDPs, conducted during February 2025. This exercise was initiated in response to the escalation of conflict between Lebanon and Israel in late September 2024, which resulted in significant internal displacement across the country. The exercise was coordinated through the Protection Monitoring Reference Group of the Protection Working Group and implemented by UNHCR, INTERSOS, IOM, SHEILD, DRC, IRC, CARITAS and UNRWA.
