This factsheet outlines UNHCR Yemen’s cash-based interventions in 2025, which supported nearly 547,000 individuals with over USD 26.3 million in assistance. The interventions include multi-purpose cash, emergency support, shelter rehabilitation, legal aid, and voluntary return. Assessments revealed that over one-third of displaced people have no income, and 62% of IDPs reduced meals to survive. Post-distribution monitoring showed 100% of refugees and 99% of IDPs experienced improved living conditions.
