WaSH Sector requires US$14 million for Critical Life-Saving Services for the most vulnerable Syrians in prioritized Informal Settlements and Collective Shelters. Despite more than a decade of Syrian displacement, humanitarian WaSH services in informal settlements remain essential due to structural and policy barriers . The absence of authorization to sustainable solutions, such as connecting sites to public water and sanitation systems, prevents any sustainable exit from emergency modalities. As a result, water trucking and desludging remain the only viable life-saving services to ensure minimum access to safe water and sanitation in many sites.
